Renderings of the stage design

LED screen

Renowned Australian art designer Julio Himede once again cooperated with the Grammy Awards, and chose Redio LED as the main display equipment for the awards stage and performance show.

Redio BP3 and CB3 leds are used as background screens. During the award presentation, a classic phonograph view is displayed in the center of the screen, while the award-winning singer's image unfolds on both sides of the phonograph in the form of a record. In the middle of the auditorium, a stage in the shape of a record was designed to echo the background screen of the phonograph. The ingenious and creative stage design adds a lot of color to the atmosphere of the scene, but also pays tribute to the classic music, which is of great significance.

During the daytime award ceremony and performance show, the main screen is transformed into three large LED backgrounds. Each screen is decorated with tassel lamps on both sides, presenting a two-dimensional flat background as a whole, giving the audience a shocking visual impact. Both sides of the screen and the center screen scattered emission, and give people a 3D visual effect.

It used its AI digital art as the visual background for the theme of the Grammy Awards. The stage backdrop, made up of swirling hues of crimson, fuchsia, sky blue and purple, is part of Anadol's ongoing "Machine Illusion - Space and Nature" series, which draws on a vast data set containing more than 300 million publicly available nature images, processed through software created by the artist and his studio.

The Phantom series is the fruit of seven years of AI research. After transforming the AI output into data coloring, Anadol then performs aesthetic output of machine dreams based on themes or data sets such as nature, space, city, weather and even culture. The design team chose two works of art in the series, one is a machine dream of the galaxy based on a large photographic data set of Hubble Telescope images, and the other is a nature series that brings together 300 million nature photos. The stage team selected the flower and landscape set in the series, and based on this, the immersive stage design was carried out.
